How to apply for an ATM card

In order to start using an ATM card, you would need to apply for it with a bank you have an account with. Most ATM cards are issued as soon as you open a bank account or based on request and you can apply for one by filling the required application form and waiting for it.It takes about 3 days to 2 weeks to get an ATM card branded with your name and you may also be charged for the cost of the card.Costs associated with an ATM card include:
- Card cost
- Transaction fee. Mostly free within network
- Monthly maintenance fee
- Renewal fee
- Replacement feeOnce your card is ready, you will be given instructions on how to use it together with a sealed PIN form which is for your eyes only. You will then activated your card on an ATM machine with the PIN you were given if it has not been activated yet.
