The benefits of using a naira debit mastercard in Nigeria are numerous and one of them has to do with making quick cash deposits into your account.GTBank Nigeria as at the time of writing this does offer this option but the funny thing is that most customers don't often remember taking their ATM cards along with them when going to make a cash deposit to their account. With GTbank's naira mastercard, a bank customer could walk into and out of a bank much faster than those who do no carry theirs along and this if true for those who are making deposits into their own accounts directly. For many times, I've actually visited GTbank and had been told I don't need to join the queue if I have my ATM card with me.Here is how depositing money into your GTBank account works using an ATM Naira Mastercard:- Go to the cashier point and tell them you want to deposit with your ATM card
- You will be directed to the machine
- Enter your card in the card slot and also place your cash to be counted
- Press the enter or green button
- Wait for the machine to accept your money
- Your account gets credited immediately and you'll get an sms notification if you are already subscribed.I've noticed that a lot of GTbank branches do have a lot of customers on the deposit line and at times waiting in that queue is purely a waste of time. So, when next you are going to the bank, try to go there with your ATM Naira Mastercard for a quicker service. Also, I've learnt that GTBank even has some special ATMs that allows customers to deposit cash directly into their account apart from just making withdrawals. That would be a nice service since people would then be able to do banking even on weekends or off peak periods.
