You deserve some level of respect and acknowledgement each time you go to your bank for services. If your bank doesn't offer you a satisfactory service, it's probably best you switch to another bank.

Do you really get a good customer service when you go to your bank? If you are unsatisfied with them, make that change today.

Some examples of bad customer services includes:
===================
- Customer discrimination
- Not attending to customers
- Attending to "Special customers" outside the queue
- No ATM network service
- Unexplained Hidden charges
- Puting customers on call holding for long time periods
- Going for a break without being replaced when customers are on a queue
- Having an insufficient number of staff to attend to customers
- Slow service delivery
- Not offering a seat to customers
- Time wasting

Have you ever being to a bank where you lost your turn just because customer service decided to attend to someone else they think is more financially valuable to them than you?
Well, things like customer discrimination at the bank is something rare since banks want to keep their customers but it does happen at times.

At times a bad bank staff may be the problem and you are free to report to the branch manager if you see that problem recurring. So, one way you can ensure you always keep your bank in check when their customer service is failing is by knowing those in charge and making reports to them when the need arises.

It is not a proper banking habit for a bank staff to ignore your turn and if that happens to you, one thing you should know as a bank customer is that the bank ethics are against that.

There are lots of banks in Nigeria and the truth is that not all of them offer the same level of customer treatment. Some banks treat customers much better than others.

I happened to visit one of these old generation banks once and after sitting down, I was told I had to stand up for an older person to sit down. Well, I wouldn't have minded offering a seat to my elder, being a Nigerian, but what annoyed me was the fact that they didn't have enough seats for their customers. At least that older person would have seen where to sit. I mean, you call yourself a 21st century Nigerian bank and yet you don't have sufficient seats for your customers!

There are some banks I go to just because I know I will be able to make a quick transaction there and come out within 10 minutes and there are some banks I just go to when I have time to waste. So it really depends on your options. Choose the bank that works best for you. You no longer have to tolerate bad bank services when we have got over 20 banks in Nigeria.
