I recently wanted to pay money into another person's account but without having to visit the bank and queuing up and so I tried to do this with my ATM card but without having to even visit the ATM machine.

What I used were:
- An ATM Card
- My Mobile phone
- A Quickteller.com account

You will need to use a mobile phone that can browse the internet in order to be able to do this.

How to do it
=================
- Go to m.quickteller.com with your phone
- Log in to your Quickteller account
- Click to transfer money
- Select the destination bank
- Select the Account type
- Enter the account number
- Enter the Beneficiary's name
- Enter the amount
- Enter the receiver's phone number
- Click on next
- Confirm the details

Note: There is a convenience fee of N100

- Click on Pay
- Enter the following card details:
+ Card Number
+ Card Name
+ Expiry Date
+ CVV code
+ Card PIN
- Click on Pay
- Enter the SafeToken delivered to your phone

If it is successful, you'd get a feedback that says "Account Transfer Successful" and you'd also be given a reference number.

The recipient will receive the exact amount of money you transferred in his bank account while your own bank account will be debited and this will normally include the extra N100 convenience fee.

Note: You can also transfer money to other people's account using an ATM machine and without having to walk into the banking hall. So, anytime you see a long queue inside the banking hall, just use your ATM card on the machine.

CVV is the 3 digit code at the back of your ATM card. It can be something like 312, 345 or even 500.

Yes you can use any bank's ATM to pay into another bank. Just use your ATM or internet and go to Quickteller menu

Quickteller is one of the ways to transfer money. You can also transfer money using your internet banking account. I don't think it is compulsory you have a Quickteller account before doing the transfer. Just Use the ATM machine and your card.

Not necessary. Just have a bank account and an ATM card and you'll be able to sue quickteller.

i mean how long will it take the bank to process the transfer of fund to the destination account.

It happens almost immediately. Since it's an online transaction, the transaction is posted automatically as long as it's a successful process.

When performing the transaction on ATM, does it require OTP because my old line which is registered with the bank is no longer active(Time to go update it, but need to perform this transaction first). Thanks.

please i have tried to transfer using quickteller mobile phone transfer, but it reach a stage where i was told that the transaction is cancelled. That i can not use Opera mini, but can only use firefox or internet explorer

You can download the quickteller application if your phone's browser doesn't work for it.
