One of the benefits of internet banking in Nigeria is that it allows one to able to buy Nigerian airtime online as long as one has access to the internet.

Now, there may be many websites where one is allowed to recharge his airtime credit but I think the best and safest option has to be buying directly from your bank and there are no hidden charges, no need to reveal personal information as all you have to do is log into your internet banking service.

I decide to buy airtime today from the comfort out my home by using UBA's internet banking service adn I'd like to share with your guys on how I did that within 2 minutes.

Here is how I was able to buy it using UBA's internet banking a.k.a. UBA direct

Steps
===========
- I visited UBA's direct website at https://www.ubadirect.com
- Logged in to my account
- Viewed my account balance
- Clicked on Buy airtime
- Select my account number, network, amount and entered my phone number plus email address
- Reviewed my order
- Entered my Token/OTP
- Submitted the order
- Instantly received topup to my phone
- Got an online receipt for the order

It was that easy

They do offer direct airtime recharge for various networks such as MTN, Airtel, Glo, Etisalat, Starcomms and Visafone.

If you have been using the interent banking service in the past, then you can request for a password reset and they'll give you a password for re-accessing your account.

Financial institution' and I have been using it before even up to the first day of this month. What can I do, I have already registered for OTP?

Maybe you should contact uba office and tell them your problem. The OTP is a One Time password that is normally sent to you when you want to make a transaction on the internet. It can be sent to your phone or emal

Yes you can. Internet banking platforms also work on Java powered phones and not just Android. Just download the app that best suits your mobile phone.
